This is a Bordeaux, which is less common than the black version.
The 144 has been discontinued, so you can't snag a just-arrived one.
No defects or engraved name.
The successor model, the 145, has a screw-on cap, but this one has a snap-on cap, which is a major feature.
The nib width is F (Fine). It's convenient to write fine Japanese characters, making it the incredibly popular nib width.
