This is a Sony MD player. It has certain scratches on the surface due to being stored at home.
I couldn't pick up it to work with my gum batteries, but I confirmed playback and button response using a dry cell battery case, and entire basic functions worked. You will need to provide your own dry cell batteries and earphones to use it.
This player does not support MDLP. If it doesn't work, I will accept returns and refunds.
