Vintage Late 1940’s velvety Brown Cloth His & Hers Shoe Bags w/ Embossed Gold Tone

These rare his and her shoe bags belonged to my parents who were married in 1948. These may have been part of my mom’s trousseau. The HIS bag features an image of a vintage black & embossed gold man’s shoe. The HERS shoe bag features a vintage woman’s black and gold embossed high heel shoe. Each bag is made with a silky tannish brown fabric edged with black overhand stitching. There is a flap closure. The bags measure 14 5/8” long and 7 1/2” wide with a 7 3/8” long and 5 1/8” wide flap. These bags are in good vintage condition and come from a from a pet/smoke free home. Perfect for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
